Using brand assets

Do

  • Request brand element approval from ZAP-Hosting when in doubt
  • Ensure the used logo’s are up to date

  • Use our brand assets to direct traffic to your affiliate link

Don’t

  • Use our logo or brand elements to drive traffic to sites outside of ZAP-Hosting
  • Modify our logo’s, icons, or other brand elements in any way, including but not limited to altering proportions, positions, stretching, condensing, changing color of fonts, flipping or rotating, or adding effects
  • Place our full-color logo on colors or backgrounds that disrupt the logo’s visibility
  • Partially cover our logo or icon
  • Place an image or text within our logo or icon

Logo versions

Our primary logo

This is our primary logo. This logo version is preferred in collaboration with partner logos.

(do not display alongside partner logo if this logo contains more than 3 colors)

Our secondary logo (dark)

This is our secondary logo version which should be used when the partner logo exceeds 3 colors and it involves light design.

(only use against light backgrounds)

Our secondary logo (light)

This is our secondary logo version which should be used when the partner logo exceeds 3 colors and it involves dark design.

Logo versions

Our full-color logo

This is our primary logo. This logo version is preferred in collaboration with partner logos.

(do not display alongside partner logo if this logo contains more than 3 colors)

Our monochrome logo

If it’s difficult to see our full-color logo over a specific color or image you can use a monochrome logo instead.
A monochrome logo means that our icon and wordmark are the same color.

Preferred color knockouts

When we partner with brands, we want to make sure that the collaboration looks as good as it feels. This set of rules ensures the consistent application of collaborating brand identities for a tight lockup.

Color usage

Color guidelines

  1. Don’t put light text on a light background.
  2. Don’t change the official logo color.
  3. Don’t use busy backgrounds.
  4. Use the appropriate color proportions.
  5. Don’t replace colors with a texture.
  6. Don’t place similar colors on one another.

Brand colors

Please refrain from displaying a colored ZAP-Hosting logo / brand colors alongside a colored partner logo / brand colors if the partner logo contains over 3 colors. In these situations you should display both logo’s in black  and white, or white and black.

Lockup construction

Horizontal (preferred)

A small vertical divider is needed between two logos.
The height of the vertical divider should be the same as the ZAP-Hosting logo.
The width of the vertical divider should be 50% or 1/2 of the letter P of our wordmark.

Vertical

The width of the vertical divider should be 50% or 1/2 of the letter P of our wordmark.
The width of the horizontal divider should be equal to the width of logo + clear space of the logo.

Result

The partner logo should always be the same width & Height as the ZAP-Hosting logo it is being paired with.

Logo usage guidelines

Application of logo lockups should be kept straightforward and simple, utilize only the colors of the identity, and must not be altered or adjusted in any way.

DO NOT: Effects

Do not apply effects like shadow, emboss, blur, gradients, etc.

DO NOT: Rotation

Do not tilt/rotate the lockup logo’s.

DO NOT: Color

Do not change the colors, no matter how close it might look to our official colors

DO NOT: Shrink divider

Do not shrink the size of the divider.

DO NOT: Extend divider

Do not extend the size of the divider.
